The role would suit an individual who is proactive, creative, flexible, smart, collaborative, a fast learner and comfortable working across all stages of projects from planning to delivery. The proposed research is in two parts: (1) An exposition and evaluation of the Machine Intelligence Garage's ethics framework. This work will describe the methodology used to design the framework and how it is used with startups. It will also situate the framework within the wider ethics principles landscape. (2) Research to elicit additional needs of companies, including startups, for practical support in applied AI ethics. This will be via primary research through interviews with practitioners in industry.
