## Notice

The scope of the Service comprises: * Providing and operating a system for the collection of Contract Waste and the onward provision of preparation for re-use, recycling, other recovery and disposal services which is environmentally sustainable * Collecting and treating Member Institution's waste including but not limited to those streams identified in Section 2 * Providing waste collection and treatment services for the waste streams relevant to the Lot on either a regular contract basis or as requested on an ad-hoc basis by Member Institutions * Ensuring that the volumes of waste do not build up to create any form of hazard to human or the environment * Providing a system for data collection, and the recording and monitoring of the waste collection and operation's transport emissions e.g. CO2e and NOx, for each Member Institution's contract * Supporting Member Institutions to reduce waste produced absolutely and increase landfill diversion from all sites via awareness campaigns * Complying with all applicable legal requirements, including any changes to the law which occur during the contract period; * Managing all collected materials in a legally compliant, transparent and environmentally appropriate manner. * Undertaking annual site visits and audits of sites to identify improvement initiatives * Providing other waste related services in support of Member Institution's objectives Additional information: Call of from Waste Management Services (Sustainable) EFM5056 LU
