## Summary

The procurement process involves the Plymouth City Council, which has awarded a contract for the "Central Park Phase 1 - Civil & Structural Engineering Services" project. This initiative is classified under architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services and aims to redevelop a section of Central Park in Plymouth, UK. The contract, valued at £24,000, commenced on 28th August 2017 and is set to conclude by 1st October 2018. The procurement process was classified as a tender and has now reached the award stage as of 25th August 2017.

This contract presents an excellent opportunity for businesses in the civil and structural engineering sector, particularly those specialising in landscape design and urban development. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) would be well-suited to compete for future projects that align with improving public spaces. The redevelopment of Central Park not only aims to enhance recreational facilities but also focuses on sustainability and community engagement, attracting businesses that prioritise these values in their service offerings.
