The contract, with a value of £55,000 GBP, was awarded to NIMA (WEARENIMA) SERVICES LTD. The procurement method used was selective, with a call-off from a dynamic purchasing system. The tender period ended on January 19, 2024, and the contract period runs from January 26, 2024, to June 22, 2024. The project is aimed at addressing interoperability issues within the UK public sector to enhance data exchange efficiency and sustainability.

This tender opportunity offers potential for business growth, particularly for businesses that specialise in digital technologies and interoperability solutions within the education and training services sector. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in data exchange, secure information sharing, and technology integration are well-suited to compete. The contract, focusing on creating joined-up public services with effective interoperable systems, aligns with the government's vision of improving collaboration through secure online public services delivery.

## Notice

Digital technologies are critical to enable collaboration between public sector organisations however currently, it is common for different parts of the government/public sector to adopt or create standards for recording, managing, using and sharing data according to their specific needs and challenges. This can mean that the way different parts of the government/public sector operate is inconsistent and incompatible with effective and efficient data exchange and reuse. To date, the UK Public Sector has not realised its ambition of creating joined up public services underpinned by effective interoperable systems to share data across multiple organisations Interoperability is the ability of two or more systems to exchange information securely and to use that information independently of technology. All CCS Customers will have to address interoperability issues and challenges to ensure future sustainability, efficiency and effective delivery of secure online public services.
