## Summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council has awarded a contract for the delivery and installation of digital telecare boxes as part of its 'Delivery Partner Analogue to Digital Switch over' programme. The awarded contract, with an estimated value of £1,300,000, was granted to Nottingham Rehab Ltd on 15th August 2024 and covers a project from 2nd October 2024 to 31st December 2025, including a potential 3-month extension. This programme will replace the traditional analogue PSTN lines with a fully digital infrastructure across the property's telecare services, which are branded under the Rothercare programme. The procurement process utilised an 'Other' method category within the Health and Social Work Services sector.

This tender represents significant opportunities for businesses involved in digital infrastructure installation and maintenance, specifically those with expertise in installing telecare systems. Businesses that supply digital equipment, book appointments, test installations, and manage waste disposal will find this contract particularly advantageous. Given the substantial volume of units involved, this project is ideally suited for large-scale service providers with robust logistics and operational capabilities, preparing them to effectively manage the scale and technical requirements of the telecare digital transformation programme.
