## Summary

The Seetec Business Technology Centre (SBTC) is seeking providers for their "HGV, Plant Machinery, Construction & Highways Training" initiative, set to deliver vocational training services across the United Kingdom. This tender, listed under the education and training services industry category (CPV 80000000), aims to support participants' progression into sustainable employment within the Logistics, Warehouse, Construction, and Highways industries. The procurement process follows an open procedure below the threshold and had set a tender period end date for 27 October 2024, with the contract period stretching from 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2028. Seetec invites applications from SMEs and VCSEs to deliver face-to-face or online training depending on the course requirements.

This procurement, led by Seetec, presents a pivotal growth opportunity for training providers, especially those with expertise in vocational training for unemployed, economically inactive individuals, ex-offenders, and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The expansive requirement for various courses, including HGV licences, plant machinery operation, and construction and highways training, allows multiple specializations to participate. Successfully awarded suppliers will not only receive immediate contracts but will also be included in Seetec's 2025 Intervention Partner framework, thus enhancing their long-term business prospects and securing future contracts without needing to reapply. This framework offers a steady stream of referrals from Seetec's diverse employability and training contracts, encouraging consistent business growth.
