This area is known as 'Coastal Cell 1' in England and Wales. Collectively, these Local Authorities are undertaking the following regional coastal monitoring programme. This will involve the following activities: * Beach profile surveying; * Beach topographic surveying; * Cliff-top position surveying; * Bathymetric surveying; * Sea bed characterisation; * Wave and tide data collection; * Aerial photography; * LiDAR surveys; * Ecological habitat mapping; * Walk-over visual inspections of defences and natural features; * Website updates; * Data management; * Data analysis and reporting. The present contract is for the Topographic Surveying 2021-27 component part of the overall programme.
