## Summary

The Newham Clinical Commissioning Group (NCCG) is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the project titled "PRJ-784 Newham Community Cardiology, Dermatology, Gynaecology and Minor Surgery Services." This initiative falls under the health services category and is aimed at enhancing community service delivery in the Newham area of London. Key activities include a bidder event scheduled for 12 July 2019, which will provide potential providers the opportunity to learn more about the service requirements. The engagement end date is set for 10 July 2019, and contracts will potentially be awarded for a three-year period, with opportunities for extension based on performance and need. The total indicative contract value is approximately £5.85 million, to be tendered as four individual lots.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the healthcare sector, specifically those with expertise in community health services. Companies that specialise in cardiology, dermatology, gynaecology, and minor surgery are particularly well-suited to compete, as the NCCG is open to innovative service delivery models. Engaging in this procurement process allows businesses to expand their service offerings, enhance their presence in the London area, and contribute to improving patient care. Potential bidders should prepare to attend the bidder event for insights into the project and the specific requirements for each specialty service.

## Notice

Newham Clinical Commissioning Group (NCCG) intent to commission a new model of community services for four specialties, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gynaecology and Minor Surgery, in the Newham area. This decision was reached following a review of existing contractual arrangements and the expiry of the current contracts. The purpose of the procurement is to enable patients to access the right care first time and to support the acute trust in meeting their 18 week RTT targets. The specialties will be tendered as four individual lots. There is no limit to the number of lots that a single provider can bid. Services will be delivered from multiple sites across the borough and the number of clinics will be determined by patient demand following the introduction of the new care pathway. Existing provision is as follows although this is currently being reviewed and may be subject to change; * Cardiology 4-5 clinics per month delivered from 1 site * Dermatology (Consultant led) 19 clinics per month delivered across three sites * Gynaecology (Consultant led and delivered) 6-8 clinics held per month from one site * Minor Surgery 16-20 clinics per month currently delivered across three sites The CCG are however open to potential bidders outlining their own potential service delivery model. Indicative contract value for each service will be provided at the bidders event. The contracts will commissioned via an NHS Standard Contract for a period of three years with the possibility of a further two year extension period. The CCGs wishes to invite potentially interested providers of the services to a bidder event to be held on Friday 12 July 2019 from 09:00- 11:00.
