Through its Registration Services the authority provides a suite of funeral related services for the inhabitants of the borough and those organisations and families who chose to use its excellent facilities. The arrangement of funerals for those where no arrangements are being made, the Public Health funeral, and the provision of a "low cost" funeral service for those families who choose to use this service. The tender is therefore offered as five Lots as detailed below and suppliers may bid for all or individual Lots: Lot 1 - Coroners Transportation - Sandwell Lot 2 - Coroners Transportation - Dudley Lot 3 - Coroners Transportation - Walsall Lot 4 - Coroners Transportation - Wolverhampton Lot 5 - Sandwell Funeral Services (Including a Public Health Funeral and Sandwell's "low cost" funeral service) The contract period for all Lots will be from 1 May 2022 to 30 April 2026.
