## Summary

The Bury Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) Service tender is currently being offered by Bury Council, which is responsible for overseeing domestic abuse services in the Bury borough. This tender falls under the community action programme category and is located in the North West region of the United Kingdom. The procurement method is an open procedure, and interested parties must submit their quotations by 5pm on 2nd November 2017. The intended contract period is set to commence on 1st February 2018 and last for 24 months, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months, subject to funding availability and provider performance.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in providing domestic abuse support services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs). The successful provider will play a critical role in supporting victims of domestic abuse, thereby contributing to community welfare and safety in Bury. Companies with expertise in counselling, advocacy, and community health services would be especially well-suited to compete for this contract, as they can align their offerings with the objectives of this important social service initiative.
