The group is made up of four registered providers consisting of a Parent Organisation (CDHG), East Durham Homes, Dale and Valley Homes and Durham City Homes. The group is governed by the parent board which has over-arching responsibility for the entire group. The parent board is made up of Independents, Tenants and Council nominees which satisfy offer document commitments and constitutional requirements. CDHG has a clear focus on its vision of 'We believe in life without barriers' and its objectives of People First, Outstanding Services and Proud Communities and is committed to making early inroads in demonstrating progress in all areas. The first CDHG Corporate Plan was approved on 14 October 2015 and provides clarity and action planning around key objectives.
