The Market Stimulation Event offers an exciting opportunity to forge links and relationships with existing and potential providers to promote the submission of quality bids. NHS England South Central is responsible for commissioning outcome focused primary healthcare services equivalent to those available to the local community and intends to commission a new prime provider contract for the provision of all healthcare services across the Thames Valley. The procurement will include 5 prisons and 1 IRC and will be available in two lots; Buckinghamshire (3 prisons one with an inpatient unit) and Oxfordshire (2 prisons and 1 IRC) and will require a comprehensive range of in-house services including not limited to physical health, mental health and substance misuse services. More information will be imminently released via advert. Providers can bid for one or both lots and can bid in isolation or in a consortium.
