## Summary

The procurement process involves Keele University Science and Business Park Ltd (KUSBPL) seeking tenders for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 1 MvA 11kV-0.4kV Sub-Station, crucial for the Smart Innovation Hub on the university's campus in Staffordshire, UK. The procurement is currently in the award stage, having concluded on 26 June 2018. The overall contract value is estimated at £70,000, and the contract must be fully executed by 3 September 2018. Interested parties were required to submit tenders by 11 June 2018, and the procurement method employed was an open procedure, allowing any qualifying supplier to participate.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for contractors specialising in electrical infrastructure and substation construction. Businesses capable of managing the complete installation and commissioning of substations would find this contract particularly suitable. Given that the project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, firms with experience in contract execution under such funding sources may have a competitive edge. Additionally, the requirement for site visits underscores the importance of local knowledge and logistical capability in responding to this tender effectively.
