## Summary

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has completed a procurement process for a Virtual Platform under the CPV classification for Sales, marketing and business intelligence software packages. The contract, awarded to Ivent, encompasses services for virtual open days including multiple booths, resource centres, live and mock-live presentations, and networking spaces. The procurement process, which followed the "Other -" procurement method, involved a tender period ending on 14 August 2024, and the contract commenced on 30 September 2024, lasting until 29 September 2028. The total value of the contract is £37,000, and registrations for the first virtual open day event are set to open in mid-November 2024, with the event scheduled for late February to early March 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in virtual event platforms and related software, particularly those offering innovative and interactive features suitable for large-scale virtual gatherings. SMEs, in particular, stand to benefit from this contract, which aligns well with their capabilities and potential for growth in the virtual events sector. Given the nature of the services required, companies proficient in providing comprehensive virtual engagement solutions will be well-suited to compete and capitalise on similar opportunities in subsequent years.
