We envisage equipment to be used to train groups of 4-6 students on each hardware module. Each hardware module will be used as an individual teaching station covering a specified set of experiments, and therefore we require each of them to stand alone or be constructed as a bench top unit. The required equipment consists of two Lots of equipment for training engineering students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the following areas. Lot 1 - Power Engineering Lot 2- Power Electronics & Drives We have divided the requirements into two parts: "Power Engineering" and "Power Electronics and Drives" and invite potential suppliers to bid for one or both areas.
