## Summary

The Cheshire East Council has recently completed a procurement process for the project titled "P041 - F2F Tattondale Farm - Interpretation", classified under design consultancy services. This initiative aims to transform Tatton Park's farm into a heritage-focused attraction, targeting diverse visitor demographics through engaging activities and the revitalisation of facilities. The award was made on 13th December 2016, and the contract with Nepro Limited has a value of £37,500, spanning from 2nd January 2017 to 31st March 2017. The procurement method employed was an open procedure, with the tender period concluding on 11th November 2016.

This project presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the design and consultancy sectors. Companies that specialise in heritage projects, educational programming, and interactive visitor experiences would be particularly well-suited to engage in future tenders related to similar initiatives. As the project targets a wide range of audiences, including schools and community groups, businesses that can offer innovative and inclusive solutions will find ample scope for growth in this evolving market.

## Notice

THIS HAS BEEN AWARDED _________________________ This is a ground-breaking project which will reposition Tatton Park's farm from a young-family orientated animal petting farm to a heritage centred attraction which engages not just a greater number of visitors but also a wider range of audiences with the agricultural, architectural, technological, social and cultural heritage integral to the site. This will be achieved through a capital works programme including opening up the agricultural feed mill and restoring its machinery (as well as other closed buildings); the construction of a new multi-functional group space building; a cutting-edge, site wide re-interpretation design alongside a high quality interactive activity programme of participative learning for all. The whole farm will be revitalised to inspire new and increased visitors i.e. from primary to higher education tiers, volunteers, adults, people with health/learning needs, deprived CEC wards, black and minority ethnic groups, corporates and families, with a narrative of food production for a large country estate from the 18th to 20th Centuries and its contemporary relevance to food production and healthy eating.
