However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. UKRI wishes to establish a framework agreement (Agreement) for the provision of a Gateway Agency in Punta Arenas. The purpose of this procurement is to appoint a supplier to support the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) in delivering a broad range of services. The framework will be set up to appoint a single Supplier who will act as the main provider. BAS operates out of Punta Arenas as its primary gateway for servicing Rothera Research Station in Antarctica, as a port and as a base for aircraft operations. A gateway agent is an essential part of this operation, carrying out the duties described in detail below, facilitating BAS operations through Punta Arenas. This Agreement is for a duration of 2+1+1 years.
