## Summary

The Crown Commercial Service has established the G-Cloud 11 Framework Agreement, aimed at facilitating cloud computing services procurement for various UK public sector entities, including central government departments, NHS bodies, and local authorities. This open procurement process enables compliant access to essential services, with the maximum call-off contract duration set at two years and two potential one-year extensions. Key procurement deadlines include the tender period that ended on 23rd May 2019, while the contract commenced on 2nd July 2019 and was completed by 31st March 2021. The total estimated contract value is £950 million, classifying it under software package and information systems services.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in cloud computing and software services, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that can provide innovative solutions. As the G-Cloud framework continually refreshes annually, new suppliers can enter the market, enhancing competition. Businesses looking to participate must register on the Digital Marketplace, making this an advantageous avenue for those ready to offer compliant and effective service solutions to the public sector.

## Notice

Crown Commercial Service has implemented a Framework Agreement for UK public sector bodies identified at VI.3 (and any future successors to these organisations) which include Central Government Departments, their Arm's Length Bodies and Agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies and Local Authorities, who need a compliant procurement vehicle to access cloud computing services. The maximum initial duration of a call-off contract is 2 years with 2 extensions allowed each of up to 1 year. G-Cloud procurement refreshes are considered annually to allow for new suppliers and services. Applicants must respond to this procurement via the Digital Marketplace. To register and see details of the steps applicants must take to offer services on the Digital Marketplace go to https://www.gov.uk/guidance/g-cloud-suppliersguide#how-to-apply In Section IV.1.3) the maximum number of participants is 999, the highest allowable on the eNotice but the envisaged number of suppliers is unlimited. All successful suppliers are listed in the attachment area Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Crown Commercial Service (CCS) believes that the first condition set out in Regulation 72(1)(c) Public Contracts Regulations 2015 has been fulfilled in respect of the Framework Agreement. Crown Commercial Service has taken the decision to extend existing framework agreements that were due for reprocurement for a period of up to nine months (9monsth) for Gcloud 11. This is to enable CCS resources to be diverted to procuring urgent requirements to deal with COVID-19 consequences and to relieve pressure on the supply chain while short staffed, to enable businesses to continue to deliver services and goods to customers. CCS intends to deliver replacement framework agreements as quickly as possible after the initial COVID-19 impact.
