## Summary

The procurement process involves Cumbria County Council, which is seeking tenders for "The Supply of Bikeability Training in Cumbria." This project falls under the education and training services industry category and is located in Cumbria, England. The procurement stage is at the Award phase, with the contract period set to run from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. The total estimated value of the contract is £904,640 over four years, though funding is contingent upon annual grant allocations. The tender was published on 19 October 2021, and the tender submission period concluded on 24 November 2021.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses focused on delivering training services, particularly those experienced in cycle safety or similar educational programmes. Companies that specialize in training provision, youth engagement, or community services would be well-suited to participate. The flexible contract structure, offering a one-year initial term with options for extensions based on funding availability, allows for scalability and the potential for consistent revenue over four years, making it attractive for both large and small enterprises. Additionally, with the ongoing local government reorganisation in Cumbria, there could be further opportunities for businesses to engage with new unitary authorities formed from the restructure.
