## Summary

Cornwall Council is currently seeking to establish a Built Environment Professional Services Framework to appoint consultants across three distinct lots, which include Development Management, Project Management, and Health and Safety Assessment. This procurement process is crucial for the Council and potentially other public sector bodies in Cornwall and Plymouth, with a total estimated contract value of £120 million. The tender period is set to close on 31st August 2018, with the contract commencing from 1st October 2018 and lasting until 30th September 2022. The framework will be executed under an open procedure method, focusing on services related to architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection needs within the South West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in professional consultancy services within the built environment sector. Companies that are well-suited to compete include those offering project management expertise, cost management services, and health and safety assessments. Given the broad scope of the framework and the requirement for consultancy across various aspects of development and construction, there is potential for business growth and collaboration with multiple departments and companies under Cornwall Council's jurisdiction.
