Part of the Council's Investment Plan for the fund's included a People and Skill's priority that identified the need to support young people in the District's High Schools to raise their aspirations and empower students to make informed decisions about their subject choices and future careers. In these times of rapid technology and cultural changes young people, more than ever, need specialised support to make informed choices about future careers. This project creates benefits for young people who are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) or who are facing education challenges and represents a truly inclusive approach to achieving the UKSPF Investment Plan aims in Cannock Chase. Cannock Chase Council are looking for a skilled and experienced organisation who can enable young people to fulfil their true potential by delivering a range of enterprise and employability programmes, working inclusively and flexibly to address the social mobility challenges affecting underserved communities. The programme should encompass financial capability and entrepreneurial skills, creating opportunities to raise aspirations, build confidence, adaptability, resourcefulness, and resilience.
