## Summary

The Manchester Metropolitan University has initiated a tender titled "Tender for the Provision of Halls of Residence Cleaning Services." This procurement is classified under cleaning services and is located in Greater Manchester, UK. The tender is currently in the planning stage and the Supplier Questionnaire must be submitted by 12 noon on 22nd January 2021. The contract will commence on 25th April 2021 and is expected to run for three years, with an option to extend for an additional two years. The procurement method is a selective, restricted procedure, with a total contract value of £800,000.

This opportunity presents a significant avenue for growth for cleaning service providers, especially those specialising in high-volume and rapid turnaround services. Businesses that can demonstrate a commitment to cleanliness and quality, and that are familiar with academic environments and the associated demands during student turnover periods, would be particularly suited to participate in this tender. With the university's aim to increase occupancy during the summer months, companies that can optimise their cleaning operations to meet these needs will find themselves well-positioned to secure a long-term contract.
