## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by the Ministry of Defence (MoD), involves a tender for the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCP) across the UK, with an estimated contract value of £4,500,000. This project will affect approximately 1,161 properties in various regions including the North, Central, South East, and South West of the UK, as well as London and Scotland. The tender is currently at the planning stage, with future notices anticipated to be published by 1st April 2021. The contract is expected to commence on 28th June 2021 and conclude by 31st March 2022.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in electrical installation work, particularly those that are members of Constructionline at Gold Level 3. Companies focusing on EV infrastructure, compliance with the IET Code of Practice, and those capable of managing various regional projects will find this tender particularly relevant. Firms that successfully submit expressions of interest may be considered for further contracting opportunities as future works of a similar nature could be negotiated based on their submitted rates.
