## Summary

The NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit is in the planning stage of a procurement for 'Pain Management Services' aimed at enhancing community-based management of chronic pain in Lincolnshire. This initiative, targeting the health services industry, seeks to engage vendors by the engagement end date of 23rd February 2018. Interested parties can find additional information and register their interest through the relevant channels. The overarching goal is to develop a multidisciplinary network that provides effective treatment options, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the healthcare sector, particularly those specialising in pain management, multidisciplinary health services, and community care solutions. Companies with expertise in delivering innovative health interventions, as well as those experienced in patient-centred approaches and community health networks, would be well-suited to participate. Engaging with this procurement process could enable businesses to expand their offerings and market presence in a growing rural population that is projected to increase significantly in the coming years.

## Notice

Lincolnshire CCGs are considering procuring a community based pain management service. The aim of the service is patients self-managing in primary care. A key objective will be to assess and treat patients within a multidisciplinary model; having access to a range of disciplines and high quality interventions that can deal with the physical, psychological, social and behavioural needs of patients with chronic pain. We expect development of a local network for managing patients with chronic pain.
