This initiative aims to address the needs of learners and enhance the support provided in various sectors, including the offender learning sector and community organisations across the United Kingdom. It will take into account all settings, including the offender learning sector, volunteering organisations, third sector organisations, refugee networks as well as informal learning set-ups like community cafes. We envisage a short, comprehensive study engaging practitioners, volunteers and learners to provide the evidence supporting any guidance and resource development. All development should be underpinned by the framework of the ETF Professional Standards. The successful tenderer(s) will be required to engage with the extended post-16 sector, including refugee support organisations, prison settings, community and family support networks.
