The task will be to gather and assess evidence of progress for each of the 'adaptation priorities' and local authority functions identified for these sectors within the ASC's last report to Parliament in 2015 ("Progress in preparing for climate change"). The role will also involve engagement with a range of relevant stakeholders to gather views and test findings. The final output will be draft sections and exhibits for the final report together with an updated 'dashboard' of metrics and indicators for the business sector used to track changes in vulnerability to climate change impacts over time.
