## Summary

NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I) South East is seeking a prime provider for the Integrated Healthcare Services for Isle of Wight Prisons, specifically for HMP Parkhurst and HMP Albany. The procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with the tender period closing on 23rd August 2022. The contract, valued at £48,027,000, is set to commence on 1st April 2023 and will last for a duration of 7 years. This initiative falls under the Health Services category and will take place in the South East region of the United Kingdom. The procurement method is an open procedure above the threshold.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those with experience in delivering integrated care or services within correctional facilities. Companies that provide general practitioner services, mental health support, substance misuse treatment, as well as nursing and therapeutic interventions would be particularly well-suited to compete. With the emphasis on person-centred care and continuity of treatment transitioning back into the community, this contract encourages collaboration and may open avenues for SMEs and voluntary and community sector enterprises to participate alongside larger providers.
