The green space forms part of the wider Bridgetown Corridor, also known as the 'Chicken Run', which extends up through Bridgetown incorporating further green spaces and play areas. The current play area is coming to the end of its useful life and the primary objective of the project is to secure the design and installation of a new play area making best use of the site.
