## Summary

The procurement process involves Salford City Council seeking tenders for the installation of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems at two leisure facilities: Worsley Leisure Centre and Irlam Leisure Centre, located in the North West of the United Kingdom. This tender is currently at the active stage, following the publication of the opportunity on 22nd April 2015, with the tender period closing on 29th May 2015. The anticipated contract period is from 1st July 2015 to 1st December 2015, aiming to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs associated with the facility’s mechanical and electrical services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction and engineering, particularly those focusing on sustainable energy solutions and facility upgrades. Companies adept at designing and installing CHP systems will find themselves well-positioned to compete, as the contract seeks qualified contractors who can adhere to the pricing and specifications outlined by the Salford City Council. The project promises not only financial benefits but also aligns with broader energy-saving initiatives, making it attractive for firms committed to environmental sustainability.
