The building at present has been heavily vandalized and subject to several arson attacks. The works will require the safe removal of both licensed and non-licensed asbestos containing material from the structure in accordance with current legislation. It is anticipated the works will commence in September 2019 and be completed by October 2019. The estimated value of the works is in the region of PS45,000.00 to PS65,000.00. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
