The services will include functions such as: - maintenance of grassed areas (turf categories), turfing and grass seeding, - maintenance of amenity planting, planting of shrubs, roses, herbaceous plants and bulbs, - maintenance and planting of trees, - maintenance of hedges, - bedding displays (provisional), - football pitch maintenance, - sports tournaments and synthetic surfaces, - water features and ditch maintenance, - care and control of livestock, - maintenance of non-vegetative surfaces, - snow and ice clearance, - litter collection and bin emptying, - maintenance of cemeteries and churchyards, grave-digging, dealing with cremated remains, internments, grave maintenance, cleaning cemetery buildings. The term of the contract shall 1.1.2020 until 31.3.2026 with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Authority.
