Suppliers are strongly encouraged to read the text at the following link in order to gain a full understanding of the role of the enforcement services with Government: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-regulation-enforcement-services BEIS will carry out market surveillance to determine the current levels of compliance within the water heaters sector in line with Ecodesign and Energy Labelling requirements placed on the UK market in relation to limits, labelling and Declarations of Conformity. Tenders are invited for testing according to the requirements detailed below. To test a selection of Ecodesign (Water Heaters) to verify compliance with the following Regulations (and any amendments to these): Regulation (EU) No 814/2013 Regulation (EU) No 812/2013 The test methods applied should follow harmonised standards EN 12897:2016, EN 13203:2015 and EN ISO 3744:2010 of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union, or other reliable, accurate and reproducible calculation and measurement methods, which take into account the generally recognised state of the art. Testing shall include labelling requirements on airborne acoustical noise emissions. All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal.
