To provide, promote and support a diverse range of types of volunteer activity, both formal and informal, that enables and includes all ranges, backgrounds and abilities. One of the key outcomes for this work is to improve emotional health and well-being by building on and making best use of social capital that exists within communities, and helping local communities to become more self-sufficient and resilient.
