At the event, Simon Humphrey from Arm, shall introduce attendees to Cambridge 2030 - an initiative to bring businesses, charities and other organisations together to develop a shared vision and action plan across the city to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. The Living Wage Foundation will present on practicalities for employers of paying the Real Living Wage and becoming accredited with the Foundation to demonstrate commitment to fair pay. The Real Living Wage is the only wage independently calculated to reflect real living costs and is one of the most important tools to tackle in-work poverty. You will also hear from The Cambridge Building Society about learning from their journey towards living wage accreditation.
