## Notice

These duties are described by section 17 of the Gas Act 1986 and Schedule 7 of the Electricity Act 1989. The services are presently undertaken under contract due to expire November 2019. Scope: Gas * Examination and certification of disputed domestic, commercial, and industrial gas meters * In-situ examination of industrial gas meters following minor repair by manufacturers and/or meter owners * Stamping of GB approved meters after refurb or repair Electricity * Examination and determination of disputed domestic, commercial, and industrial electricity meters * Type approval of new designs of industrial electricity meter outside the scope of the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) * Certification of GB approved meters after refurb or repair General * Consultancy support
