NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACT PACKAGE A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dualling Package: Scaffolding Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham Dualling project in the county of Norfolk on behalf of National Highways. The project will replace the existing single-lane section of the A47 between Blofield and North Burlingham with a new two-lane dual carriageway 70m South of the existing road length and is 5km in length including safety improvements to the existing junctions. The project total cost is estimated to be in the region of PS100million pounds plus. Outline Scope of Works Provision of qualified personal and materials for erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding to wing walls. Weekly inspection of scaffolding including tagging inspected scaffolding. Production of method statements and risk assessments including assessments for working at height. Design of scaffolding, where required. The estimate contract amount for this package is expected to be PS50,000 plus Programme It is anticipated that these works will commence in May 2023.
