## Summary

The NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit is initiating a procurement process for the "Children and Young People's Autism Services" aimed at providing an Autism Assessment and Intervention team across several regions in the West Midlands, including Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, and South East Staffordshire. Currently in the planning stage, the engagement with potential providers is set to conclude on 25th June 2019, with a Market Engagement event scheduled for 26th June 2019, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This service intends to develop diagnostic and intervention pathways for children and young people suspected of having Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and to offer community-oriented support and education to parents and carers. The procurement will follow the Light Touch Regime provisions as specified in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare services, especially those focused on child and adolescent mental health and autism interventions. Companies with expertise in delivering diagnostic assessments, therapeutic interventions, and community support services would be particularly well-suited to compete. With the emphasis on flexible appointment offerings and child-friendly facilities, organisations that can demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care and community engagement are encouraged to express their interest by contacting the designated representative, Elizabeth Johnson, by the specified deadline.
