The potential for splitting the caseload among multiple providers may further increase competition and chances for local businesses to engage in this important public health service. ## Notice NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England & NHS Improvement Midlands (the Commissioner) would like to inform the market of an opportunity to provide orthodontic services to an existing caseload, in Lincolnshire. There will be no more than 577 cases in Active Treatment and no fewer than 210 cases in Supervised Retention. There will be a payment of PS662 for a patient in Active Treatment and a payment of PS25 for a patient in Supervised Retention, in line with the National Tariff. The service will commence on 1 January 2021 and will be delivered under an NHS England Personal Dental Service Agreement for Orthodontic Patients in Active Treatment. A need has arisen to provide an orthodontic service to an existing caseload in Lincolnshire. The current contract terminates 31 December 2020. Commissioners are looking at exploring the option of splitting the caseload to multiple providers. Providers would need to have their own premises to deliver the services from 1 January 2021 within the Lincolnshire area. This is a market testing exercise and does not commit the Commissioners to carry out a procurement process. Current services will remain in place during this period in line with the existing contract.
