## Summary

The procurement process for the Earlham Park Toilet Replacement project, initiated by Norwich City Council, seeks to replace a deteriorating toilet block with a modern modular unit. The project is classified under the construction services industry, with a total estimated value of £80,000. It is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 7th June 2019. The construction area falls within the Earlham Conservation area in Norwich, UK, and requires careful attention to design, given the proximity to the Grade II* listed Earlham Hall. Interested vendors should note that the procurement will follow an open procedure.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the construction and building services sector, particularly those specialising in modular constructions and public facility upgrades. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as this project may favour innovative and cost-effective solutions. Companies capable of providing temporary public facilities during the construction phase will also have a competitive edge, enhancing their suitability for this contract.

## Notice

The existing toilet block at Earlham Park has been flagged as requiring investment due to deterioration beyond economic repair. Norwich City Council have decided that the most economical solution would be to remove the existing block and replace with a new, more modern equivalent modular unit which will reduce future maintenance costs and improve the overall appearance of the park. Norwich City Council requires a single supplier to remove the existing block and replace with a new, more modern equivalent modular unit which will reduce future maintenance costs and improve the overall appearance of the park. This is being managed by NPS (Norwich) Ltd - (Property Services Team). The toilet block is located adjacent to the Norwich City Council owned structure which is currently leased to the Earlham Park Cafe, the current cafe building does not have toilet blocks and utilises the existing block for customers. Therefore, any proposals must include for temporary public facilities to be provided for the duration of the construction phase. The park falls within the Earlham Conservation area and is located in the near vicinity of the Grade II* listed Earlham Hall, as such particular attention will need to be taken to the design of the new modular toilet block.
