This biennial event, which in 2017 attracted over 1200 delegates (and 550 to the Gala Dinner), plays a key role in aims to support growth in the sector by providing a forum for the UK space community to network, discuss issues and share opportunities. Please see the attachment entitled "UK Space Conference 2019 - Draft Specification" for more details about this requirement. Please note that this document is not a final specification document and will be finalised after the Supplier Engagement Day has taken place. This Early Engagement Notice is being issued in order to undertake a pre-market engagement exercise and hold a Supplier Day prior to running a competition, in order to understand supplier positioning, concerns and views on formulation of the requirement and allow the suppliers to gain a better understanding of UKSA's requirements. This will allow UKSA to establish how many suppliers might be interested in bidding for this requirement which will help UKSA to decide on the most suitable approach and route to the market. UKSA considers inviting to the tender only suppliers that have registered their interest and confirmed bidding for this opportunity. However, the final approach is yet to be determined.
