## Summary

The Ministry of Defence is currently planning to procure advisory services for the General Practice Education Committee, with the title "703828450: Provision of Advisory Services to General Practice Education Committee". This procurement falls under the healthcare industry and is intended to address the need for experienced civilian advisers who can meet the General Medical Council's requirements. Key milestones include an engagement end date of 27th June 2022, by which interested parties must submit their responses, including capacity and capability details, as well as delivery models and proposed costs.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in healthcare and medical education services, such as general practitioners and medical consultants. Companies that can provide a pool of qualified General Practice Experts suitable for both national and international travel would be particularly well-suited to compete. The scope for growth is underpinned by the authority's requirement for reliable subject matter experts to ensure the consistency and quality of GP training, making it an attractive prospect for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) focused in this space.
