## Summary

The tender titled "Project IRIS DPS" is managed by The Police ICT Company and is part of an initiative seeking to enhance internet intelligence and investigations across law enforcement in England and Wales. This procurement falls under the software package and information systems category and is currently in the tender stage. The process is open, allowing participation until the deadline of 25 December 2018. The total value of the project is estimated at £50 million, with a minimum spending requirement of £30 million, and the contract is set to commence on 26 December 2018, lasting until 25 November 2022.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for technology companies that specialise in software development and information systems, particularly those with capabilities in evidence capture and internet connectivity tools. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would be well-positioned to compete due to the nature of the project, which aims to establish collaborative procurement for police forces.
