The Authority is seeking to procure an integrated wheelchair service for people of all ages who have a long-term need for mobility assistance in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG area (Annex N - CCG map). The priority for this service is to ensure those with complex, long-term conditions, are able to access the right wheelchair, quickly and with appropriate information and support. The full service will cover: * Assessment & prescribing * Supply and provision of powered and non-powered chairs * Delivery and Collection * Repairs and General Maintenance * Re-Use/Recycling, Cleaning and Decontamination and Planned Preventative Maintenance * Rehabilitation Engineering Services * Specialist Seating (risers) including cushions and accessories. A lead provider will be fully accountable for the delivery of the whole service. The contract value for the term is PS9,024,000 inclusive of VAT.
