## Summary

The procurement process relates to the title "New Professional Midwifery Advocates (PMA) training," initiated by NHS England. This tender falls under the health services sector and is based in Leeds, England. The procurement method employed is a limited, competitive quotation process, specifically designed for contracts below the threshold. The tender period concluded on 21 December 2021, and the contract was awarded on 21 January 2022, with the project set to commence on 24 January 2022 and run until 31 March 2022.

This opportunity enables educational institutions and training providers, particularly those specialising in health services, to expand their business by delivering bespoke training programmes. Suitable candidates for this tender are companies or organisations capable of providing virtual training to cohorts of up to 20 students, with a maximum bid limit of £20,000 for each cohort. Given that the training focuses on supporting healthcare workers during and after the pandemic, organisations with expertise in restorative clinical supervision and remote education delivery would be particularly well-placed to compete.

## Notice

NHSE/I required a total of 5 suppliers to deliver a PMA Training Programme which includes bespoke training in Restorative Clinical Supervision (RCS) for up to 20 students each, to help ensure PMAs can provide effective RCS to the workforce during and after the pandemic. Bidders can only bid for one cohort of 20 up to a maximum cost of PS20,000, and the highest 5 scoring bidders will receive one cohort each only. Bids above PS20,000 will be excluded. The course offer should consist of a 10-day programme and be delivered virtually/remotely. It is a requirement that the start date of the course commences between the last week of February 2022 and the last week of March 2022. NHSE/I shall be responsible for the recruitment and supply of applicants to the course. Providers will be paid the cost for a full cohort of 20 students regardless of the final number of students enrolled when the course commences.
