## Summary

The Wolverhampton City Council is currently seeking to appoint an experienced operator for the management of the Wolverhampton Civic Halls through a long-term lease arrangement, as part of a competitive dialogue procurement method. This opportunity falls within the business services industry, specifically under the services category, and has a total estimated contract value of £20 million. The tender period closes on 3 July 2020, while the contract is set to commence on 1 January 2021 and run until 31 December 2060. The venue is located in the West Midlands and is notable for being the largest live event space in the Black Country, undergoing a significant £38.1 million renovation since 2017.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses in event management, venue operations, and related service sectors to establish a partnership with the Council. Given the prestigious nature of the venue and its considerable investment for refurbishment, businesses that specialise in innovative event solutions, hospitality, and marketing services would be particularly well-suited to compete. Additionally, firms capable of contributing operationally and commercially viable alternative proposals may find opportunities to extend beyond traditional leasing solutions, thus enhancing their engagement with local, regional, and national audiences.
