## Notice

Teesside University is looking to purchase a Virtual Learning Environment software solution to support both our on campus and blended on campus / distance learning students. As an institutional, mission critical service, we are looking for a solution which: *Can robustly support in excess of 40,000 active users *Provides the full range of possible learning and teaching activities through an interface solidly rooted in contemporary web design *Is backed by a company providing a comprehensive and responsive customer support offering *Can support the University delivering on the EU directive around web accessibility requirements for public sector bodies *Has a proven track record in providing institutional Virtual Learning Environments in the Higher Education sector The term of contract will be an initial 3 year term with the option to extend by a further by an indefinite number of 12 month periods at the discretion of the University.. 2 x 12 months Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
