SUBJECT: [2737] TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A TEMPORARY BUS STATION, FORGE ISLAND, ROTHERHAM South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to construct a temporary bus station on Forge Island at Rotherham. The works will be let under a JCT Minor Works Building Contract with contractor's design (MWD) 2016 and the estimated value is PS275,000 to PS325,000. The works comprise the construction of temporary bus station facilities on the site of an old supermarket comprising a new shelter, a raised footpath/platform, kerbing, perimeter fencing, site lighting, head of queue structures, milling surface of existing concrete ground slab, builder's work in connection with electrical/data infrastructure, relocation of the Employer's equipment, provision of base for temporary accommodation for the Employer, thermoplastic line markings and water filled plastic/concrete barriers.
