With the potential to cater to approximately 600 patients through a combination of in-person and remote sessions, this contract could be a catalyst for growth, expanding the service offerings of suppliers in the health sector. ## Notice Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT ( BCHC) is seeking to establish interested suppliers that have the capacity and capability to mobilise and manage ( inc practical advice and support ) post-viral fatigue after COVID-19. The service will need to be implemented as soon as is practically possible ( Sept / early Oct ) and cover the Birmingham and West Midlands area. It is recognised that a high proportion of patients who are suffering with Post Covid Syndrome experience high levels of fatigue and data suggests that at least 30% of patients are reporting chronic fatigue, which appears to be the most pressing service gap identified. These patients are likely to require some support to understand and manage these symptoms coupled with the physical, cognitive, psychological, social, vocational impact they present. Where other aspects of support are available this may also be a consideration. It is expected that service will be delivered through a number of weekly sessions provided by specialist MDT clinicians (OT/Dietician/Psychologist/Respiratory Physiotherapist).
