Somerset County Council, working with its housing partners, the Clinical Commissioning Group and central government funding are building 64 new 1&2 bed flats of older person accommodation with fantastic communal space, alongside 10 flats for people with a learning disability. We are looking for ambitious care delivery partner(s) to help us make this the best possible option for people in Somerset. The service will be focused on progression and promoting people's independence and helping them lives their lives in a person centred way. We are looking for organisations that are outward looking, eager to be part of the positive change in the way that care is commissioned in Somerset and keen to showcase their skills. Both scheme's have up to date assistive technology and design principals as part of the development, helping providers to be flexible and responsive to meet a variety of needs, this is one of the key tenants of the scheme in having a health, well balanced client group that have the best outcomes delivered.
