Please see the details "How to Express an Interest in This Tender" Amendment 06/10/2023 The government has just announced that it is investing an additional PS70 million per year to support local authority-led stop smoking services. This will more than double current spending from PS68 million per year (to a total of PS138 million) and support around 360,000 people to quit smoking. Therefore, there is a likelihood that the financial envelope of the RBWM Stop Smoking Service will exceed PS120k per annum. At the present time we do not have confirmation of what increases in funding we may receive, but it will be expected that number of RBWM smokers setting a quit date (service access) will reflect and be proportionate to this financial increase. We will also be taking the opportunity to increase the duration of the contract by a further year.
